This Place [of mine]

A young person’s creative vision of the future of their high street.

A digital arts project led by Future Everything.

Last year two young people from Oldham took part in this place [of mine], a project that explored and captured young people’s visions of the future of their town centres. Along with 8 other young people from across 5 different areas of Greater Manchester, and with the help of the Future Everything team and independent artists, each young person created a piece of digitally inspired artwork and collaborated in producing an interactive online hub to share their work.

The online hub acts as a world that visitors to the site can participate in and interact with. There is a range of powerful and inspiring responses to the theme and some brilliant pieces of art.
