The Journey home & Mr.Collin Beetleman’s big adventure

Over the past 6 months we have been very lucky to work with the extremely talented year 4 classes from one of our local primary schools Holy Cross CEVA.

With lots of visits and encouragement from their teachers and Isobel Pickup our lead artist on the project the children wrote, illustrated and created ‘The Journey Home and

Mr.Collin Beetleman’s Big Adventure’. Both stories follow the adventures of Mother Owl and Mr. Collin Beetleman as they make their way safely back to Oldham. It’s been a fantastic project that’s given us a great opportunity to work with some wonderfully talented children and help them to become published authors! Each child also completed their Discover Arts Award alongside this project.

We’re very proud of all the children who took part and love that we’re able to share their story with all of our visitors in our new exhibition!
