Although we aren’t able to physically reopen in December, during the dark winter months we will be bringing you a selection of online activities and images to help fill your time. So why not join us as we wrap up warm and #GoCosy at Gallery Oldham this winter!

Look out for our range of easy Christmas crafts, winter jigsaws, magical early year adventures and collection highlights on our website and social media channels. We will also be featuring images from the specially commissioned Window Wonderland – a range of art installations appearing in December and into January throughout Oldham town centre.

Bringing some much need Christmas cheer our Reindeer Parade Trail guarantees to bring some joy. Our Reindeer sculptures have been designed by schools, community groups and organisations across the borough and are on display until Monday 4 January.

We’re excited to be counting down to Christmas once again with our fun #MuseumAdvent calendar. We’ve got loads of different objects from our collections highlighting festive celebrations and winter. We’ll be opening a window every day on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

You can also catch our new online exhibition Raindrop to Corporation Pop. Our Super Saturday linked activities starting in the New Year offer fun of all the family. We’ll get creative with artists Fay Buchanan, Dom Harbot, Alison Cooper and Isobel Pickup on 9 Jan, 13 Feb, 13 Mar and 10 April.
