We have a huge range of activities for families, individuals, artists, young people and everyone else who visits Gallery Oldham.

For Kids and Families we have a fun mix of events for families during all school holidays, our monthly Super Saturdays and weekly Go Baby and GO Explorer sessions. Plus the Small Cinema showing family friendly films.

For Young People we have a variety of creative activities, workshops and sessions to develop your skills. We also deliver and support Arts Award.

For adults we offer a range of informative art and craft courses, and group workshops that are suitable for all levels of ability.

Our monthly life drawing sessions are back and better than ever!

Join us on a Thursday evening or Saturday morning to explore the joys of drawing from the nude model, workingImage of a sketch in pencil from a life drawing workshop. with a new model each month test out your sketching and drawing skills with a mixture of short and long poses.

Sessions are led by an artist who can offer support throughout the session. Basic materials are provided along with a drawing board (no easels available) for each participant but please feel free to bring your own wet or dry materials to experiment with.

Tickets from £10 per person and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.

Lunchtime talks

Our monthly lunchtime talks are a great way to find out more about exhibitions. Talks are free, informal and last around 30 minutes with time for discussion afterwards. There is no need to book.

Small cinema

Small Cinema

Join us every month to enjoy a range of family friendly movies. Tickets are £3. Join us for fun film-related crafts before each movie. Activities are FREE and run from 12noon – 2pm.
