We have a huge range of activities for families, individuals, artists, young people and everyone else who visits Gallery Oldham.

For Kids and Families we have a fun mix of events for families during all school holidays, our monthly Super Saturdays and weekly Go Baby and GO Explorer sessions. Plus the Small Cinema showing family friendly films.

For Young People we have a variety of creative activities, workshops and sessions to develop your skills. We also deliver and support Arts Award.

For adults we offer a range of informative art and craft courses, and group workshops that are suitable for all levels of ability.

Our free talks are informal and last around 40 minutes with time for a discussion and questions afterwards, some are onsite and others are online. Talks are given by gallery staff or guest speakers. All onsite talks are drop in, no need to book. Please ensure that you reserve your place on our online talks.

It’s time to get ready for this year’s Big Garden Birdwatch. So come and take a close onsite look at Oldham’s birds newly displayed in our Oldham Stories Gallery with our natural history curator Patricia Francis.

Small Cinema
