We have a huge range of activities for families, individuals, artists, young people and everyone else who visits Gallery Oldham.

For Kids and Families we have a fun mix of events for families during all school holidays, our monthly Super Saturdays and weekly Go Baby and GO Explorer sessions. Plus the Small Cinema showing family friendly films.

For Young People we have a variety of creative activities, workshops and sessions to develop your skills. We also deliver and support Arts Award.

For adults we offer a range of informative art and craft courses, and group workshops that are suitable for all levels of ability.

Thursday 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31 March, Thursday 21 & 28 April and Thursday 5 May, 2-4pm

Looking for an opportunity to make friends, explore something you love and create a keepsake Digital scrapbook? We want to hear from you. If you’re curious about your family history, have a story to tell, want to find out about the history of your home or local sport, this is your chance.

This eight week course is based at Oldham Local Studies and Archives and is funded by a National Archives grant.

Cost: FREE, suitable for everyone, all materials included.

Pre-booking is essential (click to go to Eventbrite booking page) and you will need to attend all 8 sessions.

Lunchtime talks

Our monthly lunchtime talks are a great way to find out more about exhibitions. Talks are free, informal and last around 30 minutes with time for discussion afterwards. There is no need to book.

Small Cinema

Join us every month to enjoy a range of family friendly movies. Tickets are £3. Join us for fun film-related crafts before each movie. Activities are FREE and run from 12noon – 2pm.
